Whitchurch 2’s 86 vS Linley 0
After entering the national leagues again after a few years break Whitchurch 2’s are proving week in week out that they need a higher league to challenge them. This week it was the turn of Linley to discover this with the home side running in 14 tries unanswered. The scoreline probably doesn’t reflect the game as it was Whitchurch’s solid determination and defence that kept the opposition out on many occasions. Man of the match Jack Rowley scored 5 tries and is pushing hard for a first team place. Other tries scored were 2 each for Callum Southall, Matt Cliffe and Will Lever and others from Teddy Ravenscroft, Rob Kellett and Tom Bannister. This win leaves Whitchurch 11 points clear at the top of the league and travel to Aldridge next week kicking of at 2:15.
